An appealing prospect awaits for me each day — sipping my morning cuppa from a vintage, handcrafted mug. Some days I wake up on the wrong side of everything, and battle to change my state, but these little individuals are guilty for making my day a little bit better.
All collected from opshops in Victoria, the mugs tell tales of where they originated from; Korea, Japan, China, Australia and elsewhere. Somehow, they have ended up being given a second chance at life, being bailed out for 50c to a dollar by yours truly. Some have been waiting for months in the ‘free’ box and have now become the receptacle from which I sip my morning cup of tea.
